I only use the SSD as boot drive and I run all the programs of the SSD.But everything else is stored over the network in chunkier traditional drives.

One thing you have to remember: Compact Disc, as a technology, is 30+ years old.Everything else has come a loooooooooooooong way since then, from the way music is recorded, etc. But, the delivery mechanism hasn't changed much. Why are we still at 16-bit/44.1kHz?It's been a good 30+ years...

1.網上Download。
2. Ripping。

Just saying when ripping Audio, a good disc reader and software is needed, because it really affect the quality of the ripped file. This point really against what I know before. What's a good and technical article! I learn more! {:6_237:}

Haven't read the article yet, but you can be super anal if you want to...For example:
1. There's a service out there that allows you to compare the files you ripped vs. what others got, to determine the "quality" of the rip...I keep forgetting what it's called though...
2. Build a minimalist PC just for ripping, don't install any unnecessary software, e.g. graphics drivers...(no shxt, Sherlock)
3. House the drive outside of your PC: in a heavy external case with external power supply, connected through USB 3, Firewire, SATA, eSATA, or whatever way your fancy. If you choose SATA/eSATA, separate the CD reader from the HDD chains (one off an independent chip, another off your Intel chipset). If you opt for USB, use one of the connectors at the back of your mobo, instead of one of those on the front panel...etc. etc. etc.
4. Use whatever software you fancy to calibrate the CD drive before ripping...
Honestly, I think some of these are overkill...
