it is not too fair to compare an europe super sports car to a japanese family sedan.....
but putting a GTR35 to compare with a 911GT3RS or F430...... will be very interesting
anyway back to the original tread topic, i run 5.1 and have the sofa against the rear wall.have the rear speaker replaced from Klipsch RS42 (hanged against the rear wall) to Dali Fazon (mounted to rear wall and front facing the center of the seat), it transformed the surround field by quite a far margin and now i enjoy it.
if we follow this thread starter completely, we shall all suicide NOW because we all will soon die.

自己用開Dali，fazon我一直都好想試下
單向喇叭定位和方向感會較強
相反Klipsch RS42包圍感和空間感會較多
但玩AV始終講求器材互相佩合，調較和擺位
同一堆器材唔同環境表現都會唔同

the reason i changed to dali fazon sat is i didn't satisfy with the RS42II at all.when i audit the anthem in dealer's showroom, their boss said the RS42II is not designed for my application (hang on the rear wall with the sofa against it).he suggested me to get a pair of speaker that i can adjust the angle by a huge amount so that they can point close to the seat.he also said most of the speakers have about 60 degree spread angle so i do not 100% need to have them pointing at the seat.it worked!
oh i bought a pair of mount from taobao for under $100 and they look good too.
