Which version of multiavchd you're using?  Do you get a "download the stable x264" me ...

I just downloaded version for b4 I left for work this morning. Let's see how that goes.

I am using 3.0 (build 729).  After download the x264 from the link shows in the picture, all transcode process runs fine.

    wholy cow... i started the process at 8:11am this morning... it's still transcoding Pass 2 @ 64%!

I am using a 4 years old C2Q 3.0GHz, and it never take more than 8 hours to do the transcode.  
What CPU you are using? Seems like you better upgrade to Corei7.  
Or just do the pass1.

Mine is a E6550 with 4 Gb ram. I am not sure if the issue has to do w/ Windows 7 64 bit.

Windows 7 may be a problem.  I have tested on Xp and Vista, but haven't tested on Windows 7 yet.

Try turning off all other applications, and test the video with 1pass fast.
