I discover that my PF40 has a defect!!!{:6_164:}
It cannot indicate the amount of current used (it's always 0.0).
Otherwise it functions OK.
I have carefully read this whole discussion & some overseas forum discussion.
I check the Belkin UK official website & find that PFX0 series is not there.
The previous price of PF40 in UK without shipping cost to HK is already >HK$2000.
Therefore I think these cheap PF40 that we bought are the remaining stock after discontinuation.
The reason of discontinuation may be the poor QC of the Chinese OEM factory causing various small defects (such as scratches, dirtiness, wiring problem...etc). {:6_124:}

How many electronic stuff you plug into PF40? I found the amount of current being used is very small ..... most of the time is less than 2
Have you tried Hair Dryer? I tried and the amount of current used can be up to 5 ....
Hope it is normal
