djaddy, oppo only supports USB mass storage class, but your docking station has a hub, which is a different class.So, that's why you have USB error.Like chrisclw hing said, use a plain SATA/PATA to USB.Then try again.

Ripped a couple of BDmovies. Need til the shops open again to geta Sata to USB converter.
Instead of upgrading to 83SE, I am using my Oppo 83 as transport. I got a better coaxial cable and feeding to my DacMagic. I am currently running in the cable.

Oh boy, I ripped the BD just fine. I can get the English track on my HTPC, but I can't get English from my Ps3/ Oppo 83.

What is the format of the English track?Also, which programs did you use?If you use MultiAVCHD, can you post the log file?
