Thanks for your feedback! I am glad to hear that you successfully flashed back to may 2019 firmware and everything now works again.
I think that we will have to wait until Denon fixes this issue, too bad that the old firmware misses the support for spotify free use over HEOS, that's the only issue of downgrading for now.
If you or someone else receive or has the link for downloading the previous good firmware, the 6461-9110-0102-0125 version, please post the link here as I really would like to upgrade to the last working software I had before the broken one.
I've tried over the internet to search for it, but I can only find infos from denon japanese site and no download method at all.
I hope my message can help several people to have back their amps working, that's for sure!

I read information about restoring firmware from this forum, monitored by local Denon personal. Use this key combination 'setup' +' dimmer' then power on. The front panel will show " Restoring firmware", wait until it finished. It will boot up like a newly install machine. I updated the firmware immediately and it restored back to the firmware I was using before ( not the usa firmware). Network also function normally. May be you can try it out , if it fails you can still use the May 2019 firmware files to flash it again. Be sure to rename the two xxxxx.done files, heos_40.prod.update.done and AVR-X6400HALL_0013.update.forced.done back to heos_40.prod.update and AVR-X6400HALL_0013.update.forced .
In a previous post you said that, after reading my message, you restored your amp using USA firmware and it was ok (even if you had to try several times before success). Now you are telling me that you have restored the previous firmware you were using before the broken one? Am I right? Now, tell me if I've understood it well: you flashed USA firmware to restore network - then you updated the firmware to the latest (broken) and then you used the firmware restore (setup+dimmer+power on) and the machine reverted not to the USA firmware but to the previous good one? (the 6461-9110-0102-0125 i suppose), right? Please teach me how you did because I want to do it too.

Just ignore the present status of your machine. Do a Restore firmware by holding both 'setup' and 'Dimmer' keys then power on the machine. You should see 'Restoring firmware' in the panel. Wait until it finished restoring may be 15-20 minutes. I guess there is a firmware written in rom that comes with the machine that will not change during firmware updates. After reboot you can check the present firmware version which should be the version that came with machine from factory. You may stop if you feel doing the update again may broke the machine. I checked and found new update present and go on with the update. After finishing the update the version now is the latest version on my machine before the new update that broke my machine. (No more usa firmware ). Hopefully if everything goes well you may restore back to version 6461-9110-0102-0125.

Ok Inchu I've done that and my machine reverted to default factory firmware, that it's the same of yours: 6030-3221-8141-6104 DTS Version 3.90.35.00
Before doing that I've updated to usa firmware to new in update menu, and it went to the broken one,...then I made the firmware restore.
Now you're telling me that updating made yours go to the latest 6461-8263-0132-2165 DTS Version 3.90.50.51 that is actually the broken one...and everything works?
That is not the version before broken one, it's the broken one itself!
Last working was 6461-9110-0102-0125.
Ok guys I've made it, as you say, Inchu, reverting to factory installed firmware, same as yours, then proceeding to network firmware update, brings the machine to a fully operative 6461-8263-0132-2165.
Probably updating it from the previous, causes some parts to be written uncorrectly, while updating from scratch, empy default rom, works fine.
I think I've lost 10 years of my lifetime with this dreadful issue...but luckily it's over.
