with or without 3D doesn't really matter if u consider to buy in China. In HK, well you would find big difference between non-3d old model and the new models.
I think you had better go into the web site to find the brand you want and get the idea of the price you target. e.g, The Sony in China has 3-4 times more models than we have in HK. Go into any big chainstore, the TVs models are A LOT and good to spend you hours to find one you like the most.
Go up and enjoy a day in SZ and see see those TV first.
