If that is the only reason you want to change to dune, why don't you just buy an external USB hard disk console? I don't suppose there would be significant difference in picture quality, as dune max and N3 are using exactly the same chip set, though i'm not sure about duo.

N3 is a full size media player and I have only ordered the single hard disk version. That was the only version available back then. N3 is designed to take a single hard disk and a blu-ray rom at the same time. As I did not install the blu-ray rom, it is actually a pity to leave the remaining compartment empty. Initially I was thinking spending a small sum of money to order an upgrade kit to convert the blu-ray rom compartment to house the second hard disk. However, after talking to the HK dealer, he indicated that he is still testing out the compatibility issue of this conversion arrangement. Perhaps I will eventually take your advice and buy an external hard disk craddle instead.
I use dune max and update the firmare before , my comment is
1. Play BD remux TS file plus chinese srt, It always cannot synco. well.
2. play ISO and then play Ts file sometime will hold
3. change the sound soundtrack for DD+ or DTSHD master is not good.
4. Picture qty N3 is better than dune max but outlook Dune is much better than N3 , it has the display to show the time , chapter etc..
Finally , I sell it and change to N3. N3 is better than dune. specially for srt .
