其實用同一組chipset, 真係唔好諗會有很大進步, 我換機只是貪佢可寫ntfs harddisk.
初步看了一隻bluray iro ...

Dowdload file 的事我諗板規有寫唔講得，sorry。

C-Hing,

Very interested in the Dune media player and I have the following questions:-

1.  Do you know the data transfer rate for transferring the file from the computer to the harddisk mounted in the Dune?  For example, how long does it take to tranfer a 10G mkv file from the computer to the Dune?

2.  I am actually more interested in Dune Duo which can house two harddisk and accessible through the front panel.  Do you know how much does it cost in Golden, Shamshuipo?

The transfer rate is limited by the local network. The dune machine supports 100Mb per second only, so you need around 10 min to transfer a 4.3G DVD (unless you switch on the gigalan option in the setup page, which is not recommended by the manufacturer).

Thanks very much for your prompt reply.  

I am using HDVision N3 at the moment and I just learn that I can, for a relatively small sum, upgrade the player to hold two internal hard disks at the same time.  This will bring it at least on par with Dune Duo.  In this connection, I will shelf the idea of upgrading to Dune Duo for the time being.  I assume that both Dune and N3 are of similar picture quality since both Dune and N3 are based on the same Sigma 864X structure.
