不是，用5.1或者HDMI，9700都会解码。。。至于你的amp解码后好不好我不了解不敢乱讲
我的意思是 我个人认为接5.1rca出声会好过hdmi
声画各自负责，bug又少滴
你接5.1，再接hdmi试下。。。

You can select "auto" in HDMI audio out and "PCM" in digital out.

However, I have a quick test today. The PCM sound from HDMI is not as good as outputted by RCA or even worse than the sound decoded by my AV amp.

I am using Wireworld Starlight 5 as HDMI. Oyaide DR-510 5N pure silver as RCA.

You said you tested the RCA sound better.Do you mean you used RCA connect 5.1 or 7.1 to compare with HDMI?

You said ...

1) Bitstream means HDMI output the signal for AV amp decode. Therefore, in order to output the PCM signal (9700 decode), you have to choose "Auto" in audio HDMI out and "PCM" in digital output.

2) Yes, I am using 5 RCA cables (3 Oyaide DR-510 and 2 Oyaide AR-910). These 5 cables cost more than 7K. However, I use Gotham 11001 cables in before (cost less than 1K for 5 cable), I still think the sound from RCA cable is better.

Also,can this decode dts HD signal？

Did any ching have the problem of synchronize between picture and sound?
The picuture faster than sound.
I used two same kind of HDMI cables for TV and AV amp separately.
