Software history (BDP9700)

The latest software improves the below:
NOTE: Each release contains all solutions identified in the earlier version.


System Software Version 4.19
• Miracast feature has been enabled in this SW release. You can now use a Miracast certified
mobile device to stream to the BDP. For more information about the Miracast feature, please
refer to the BDP9700 FAQ from the product support page.
• Fixes the following issues:
o No picture via HDMI when used with certain TV’s.
o Playback via HDMI sometimes loses sound after skipping chapters during BD/DVD playback.
o Video stuttering sometimes during BD playback.
o YouTube playback sometimes freezes.
o Inconsistent sound output when used with Onkyo NR626 receiver.
• Things to note in V4.19:
o In compliance with new AACS requirements, Blu-ray playback via CVBS output is now
disabled. Please watch your Blu-ray movies via HDMI connection.
o As we are moving to a more efficient browser firmware, certain SmartTV applications and
services may not be available.
o USB keyboard and mouse will not work when used inside SmartTV. This will be fixed in the
next SW release.
