Toslink no good it is because toslink only theoretically no signal lost "inside" the cables, however ...

I was using Musiland 01USD, but recently changed 03 US (with a little mod of internal capacitors).

I just see from web's comment (local and foreign) that optical is usually not as good as coaxial.
