Any Oppo 83 c-hing upgrade to 83SE?
I heard that the up-grade kit is now available.Just wonder any c-hing had did the up-grade before and whether it is worth! It haven't improvemnt if you use HDMI only, Improvment only on CD Play back on analog out of Oppo 83 The 83SE improves all the analog outputs of 83, and also has a little improvement on the HDMI. With the SE, there are more low-level details, more extension and air treble, warmer vocal, and a wider soundstage.The SE’s HDMI on the video (I don’t have a HDMI capable av-amp) is cleaner with less noise and better contrast than the regular 83.Overall, it is very well worth it.Before:

What bother me is that I have to remove all the cables and reconnect it one by one after the upgrade. It is really annoying. C-hing, did they go to your home to do the up-grading and reconnect the cables for you?If not, it is really a bit annoying.Anyway, are you satisfied with the performance after up-grade?I still have not yet decided whether to spend this extra money because actually I have a separate cdp with integrated amp. 就算用埋RCA線聽CD，加埋HDMI同電源線都係4條線，算係簡單啦… 剛收到消息，upgrade kit 已經售罄，而且以後唔會再出! 今日先收Email通知有upgrade kit，下午食飯入數，宜家咁快又話售罄{:1_331:}
