For your further info, i can select the bass mix method for my subwoofer either "Mix" of "Both" in my av amp's speaker setup when the front speakers is large.
my av amp is Marantz SR6003

Cyberken hing,
But my rear speaker is Mirage nanosat and its operating frequencies is from 120Hz...
so if i set crossover at 80Hz, will there be any bass loss from rear??

I got your meaning now....
But Pioneer only allows SW has below setting:
Yes: LFE signals and bass frequencies of channels set to SMALL are output from the subwoofer
No: the bass frequencies are output from other speakers
Plus: the subwoofer to output bass sound continuously or you want deeper bass (the bass frequencies that would normally come out the front and center speakers are also routed to the subwoofer)
So I dont think they have the "Mix" mode like Onkyo & Marantz

in your case, i think you might try to compare the effect from "Yes" to "Plus".

I also recommend that C-hing you should at least try, even that does not appear appealing.

May be, but i think bass from rear should be much less than fornt and centre, if i were you, i rather stronger bass from F and C.

1 more question. Before you got your int amp, did you use bi-amp function of LX71? or you just didnt use it and single wire + jumper?

just ignore what your friend said , if he s that smart ,he should help you for set up to have better performance ....{:6_124:}
but i saw you set the crossover at 130 and set front large , i think there should be problem, , the most safe setting was all speaker set to small because your pioneer was not very enough for your floorstand speaker , set small and try the crossover from 80 to 120 , u have to check your surround speaker and see their limit so that you can set at where. and the bass out always set to "woofer only" ,this is important, don't set both unless you have the same band and same series .if u follow these option , i m sure won't be that bad . hope this help {:6_134:}
