V nice. For center spkr, laying flat on the cupboard may affect the performance.
My 2 cents.

MigthyAtom brother,
Do U put anything underneath the black granite before putting the subwoofer on it??
What about if the floor is not so flat, will vibration occurred there?
Again, any vibration absorbent between the granite and the subwoofer?

--> No

--> the floor is not so flat in my house indeed, but no vibration occurs, maybe it is too heavy
Again, any vibration absorbent between the granite and the subwoofer?
--> No too, as I think if add on anything on or below the granite will lose the characteristics & function of granite
Any Ching comments?

Well, first. thx for your reply!
I believe using granite is because of its high density, ie.- heavy mass, to damp the vibration.
I can understand there is no vibration pad between the speaker and the granite- it is assume the granite is reasonably flat so can suppor the speaker very well.
But if there is no isolation or dampingor solid support between the granite and the floor, then there will be a in-secure support. ie.- the granite may rock on the floor. So, what is the difference to have or not having the granite. I suppose the speaker will come in with some form of footing, which enable the speaker itself to stand firmly on the "un-even " floor..
迷思!
