應該要置頂！
雖然舊膽多貴而，但那聲音，那味道，往往是新裝不能給予的！
而ebay捕靚蛋也是一個痛苦的過程，因結標通常在深夜，哈哈！
香港買膽通常貴，試想鋪租、水電、人工等...

Hi,

I have a tube amp which using:

4x KT88
4x 6sn7
2 x 12ax7

I'm using china tubes now, but i want to change 6sn7 & 12ax7 could u give me some suggestion ?
i heard ppl said TELEFUNKEN is the best, but in your page u said its not "warm" and it makes me worry cause i do like warm sound.
My budget for all 6 tube is around USD 150-200, i listen to jazz and i like male vocal, with my current setup i think its warm enough but i want to add some dynamics, 3D and airy.

Thanks for your request.
Within your budget, the best type of NOS tubes for the sound you want are probably:

6SN7GTB RCA 1960s vintage, $50.00 per pair total $100.
12AX7 GE or Sylvania made, matched pair, $50.00

The Telefunken are indeed very bright without any warmth, and they start at $175 per pair for the rib plate, so would not be in your budget.

these may suit me too....for my super34, is it good to make all four tubes at the front replaced by them???

If you want to use GE 12AX7, try the GE 5751 black plate instead, military grade, better performance...and if you like warm sound, try RCA VT231 or 6SN7 smoked glass...
