Many years ago, I bought the Teresa Teng LPCD45. The sound is OK but nothing special. It started failing only a few months after, when I tried to rip the CD it is full of errors towards the end. I called Hugo twice complaining it, and they just played me over the phone. They can hardly gain my trust again.
Lesson learnt: never cut the cost of CD-R blanks! Will you print books with toilet paper?
Just want to state clearly that I don't want to be misled to be here to push certain products. Personally I prefer SACD and XRCD over LPCD, I find the art work for LPCDs are particularly poor. The purpose of starting these posts is not to be biased towards certain products. I am quite an '80s' person and if these titles were released in SACD or XRCD formats I would have started these topics too because reissues are what I like to talk about.
There is nothing wrong with posting negative comments on what you feel may be a bad product, but I find personal attacks not necessary and has taken the fun out of sharing and having discussions on these forums. I think moderators of this forum should take note of the recent postings and take whatever actions they deem necessary.
To avoid further misunderstands I will not post or comment on responses relating to these topics.
