Set MDAC to await "Trigger" from the Menu, then by replaying an external test file provided with the MDAC. Once the MDAC recognises the incoming Data as the "Bit Perfect test" sequence it will "Trigger" the start of testing procedure and then internally compares the incoming data with its own image (XOR'ed) the MDAC then continues comparison to insure the validity of the external DataStream.
The file can be replayed from any external source CD / WAV / FLAC etc (Via SPDIF or USB) - thus allowing owners to insure that there PC's / Replay device is configured correctly & is able to replay / stream Audio Data "Unmolested" in any way.
With the MDAC, you can directly control your computers Media player (Controls almost all Media Player software) directly from the MDAC's remote control - Play, Pause, Stop, Next Track, Back Track, REW / FF. I use Windows Media Player, open all my tracks in one Library, and then use the MDAC remote to select between the tracks - works Ok for me as I only have 200 to 300 tracks in the library - Simple...
