I have not check the delivery cost of other projector from US to HK.   But the cost is depending on the weight and size of the package, delivery method and the delivery location in US.   It should be the same if the size, weight, delivery method and location in US are the same.

U can check with FedEx the delivery cost.   The cost of delivery is about HKD1,000 to HK1,200, depends on the weight and size of the package.   The weight of Optoma HD3300 is about 4.5KG and the size of the carton box is about 35cm x 39cm x 25cm (including the 4 RF glasses).   Accoridng to quotation from FedEx, it is about HK1,100 only (for package weight of 6 KG).   The delivery time is about 6 days.   No tax for package delivery from US to HK.   So the total cost is the projector cost (about HK$13,300), 4 RF Glasses (about HK$2,800) and delivery (about HK$1,100) i.e. HK$17,200.

By the way, the Emitter is also included if u buy it in US.   I do not know whether it is included or not if u buy it in HK.   The 3D glasses included in HK is DLP Link glasses only (please check).   Please also note that the warranty will be valid in US only i.e. if there is any problem, u have to delivery it back to US and collect it back from US after fix by paying the cost of delivery.   The warranty period is 3 years for HD3300.   The warranty period for the bulb is 2 years.

Please note that the delivery charge is HKD1,550 (actual delivery cost charged by FedEx).   The actual weight is 8.5kg and the actual size of carton is 24 x 20 x 8 (inches) i.e. FedEx will charge u at 13kg according to the size.   The above weight and size including one HD3300 and 4 pairs of RF glasses.   No other charges need to be paid i.e. no tax and no custom charge.   The total actual payment for one HD3300 and 4 pairs of RF glasses (including delivery charges) ordered from AV Science Inc. is about HKD17,500.   HD3300 with 3 years warranty and the blub with 2 years warranty.   The above information is actual and from my friend who has received and enjoy HD3300 with the RF glasses now.

The difference is that the HD3300 has a better contrast and a higher ANSI lumens.   Acutally, they are the same machine but the parts in HD3300 are hand picked and selected to construct the HD3300 i.e. better parts than HD33 and hence it can be tuned to have a better contrast and lumens.   Besdies, it has ISF settings while HD33 hasn't.
