各位師兄,近日睇到Da-Lite 既high power screen 係AVS d 評價好似幾好甘,有無師兄用過或試過可以分享?用呢個screen 第日升級玩3d都唔使換謝謝!

    I'm using it. Very good with 3D or 2D. But your projector is better placed near to your viewing height as the viewing angle is not as wide as other lower gain screen.

Cyyy Ching,my pj just few feet above my head, did you still use it now? I saw the comments in AVS was pretty good, did you found any waves after certain period? Than you so much!

I would suggest to take a look into the OS screen with the BU201 / BU202 materials. I bought BU202 and the results are so good. Actually I am the fan of high gain screen. It is very suitable for home cinema whereby you won't setup like a stuido or show room. But do consider your mounting position, if you hang high from the ceiling you may not want to buy such high gain screen (>2.0)

    I have lighting controlled in my room, the reason of intrese in Da-lite high power because of most of the commented from AVS said it haven't any waves issue, and consider this high gain screen can use for next upgrade.
OS is out of my bugget.

I'm still using it with my old marantz VP12s2 & benq w20000 which both give excellent images on this screen. I placed the 12s2 on the coffee table in front of my seat & the benq just above my head at the back of the seat. There is no wave seen in the past 3 years of my usage. It's much cheaper than the new OS ultra-bead screen with similar outcome.

May I clarify what do you mean by "wave" issue? Do you mean the screen is wrinkled and forms like a wave on the surface?

By the way, when you say light controlled do you mean "turning off the light"? Actually the reflection of the walls / ceiling / floor / objects all are hurting which is so different from a showroom. That is why I said we have to do something to compensate we are at home but not studio.

Since I have a room for gaming and movie, I use a black curtain for the lighting control, it's almost 80% dark.
The wave issue normally happen in menual screen without tension on both side, it look curvie and some time has a "V shape" curve.

    Cyyy ching, I've order a 102" Da-lite power screen, but, due to this model is not too popular in hk, I need to wait for over a months for the next shippment from Da-lite, might be arrive before x'max, the price is amazingly low, just around MOP3xxx!!!
