nas 轉 raid

剛剛買左nas 411+
之前用兩隻hdd 行raid 1,
現在加多兩隻, 行raid 5....
但部機攪左好耐..仲係"新增硬碟中"....差不多20粒鐘....
仲run緊....其實要攪幾耐...係咪正常架???

另外有無ching知道...raid 5+spare 有咩唔同?

    No idea what nas 411+ is...  But how big are your drives?  Shouldn't take that long!

我最後買左synology 411+II , 用一隻nas, 費時兩隻咁煩!!

我原本用緊兩隻2t 行raid 1 , 後加兩隻2t 轉行raid 5,
剛剛睇過...現在先run左 2x% , 都唔知點解咁耐

另外你知唔知 raid5 & raid5+spare 有咩分別??

    Think this "RAID 5 + spare" that you are referring to is RAID 6...  For 2x2TB to 4x2TB RAID 1 to RAID 5 conversion, I don't think it should take that long.  Perhaps your NAS has a relatively slow processor.  Too bad you are already in the middle of the conversion, otherwise, I would have suggested that you move the data into a different box and build the RAID 5 by wiping out all the disks.

    我無其他HDD 可以BACK UP DATA....
所以中途加落去....而且我又無諗過會咁耐,
我又唔趕住用既....唯有.....等
