Ching many thanks.
Lot of questions, few important settings want to know first are: how to best set the 1) autofocus? 2) picture quality/mode? 3) Flash? 4) WB?...
I'm a rookie for DSLR, always use Aperture Priority mode and feel problem in Scenes mode....Shall I maintain on "A-priority" for taking pitcure??

Hello, C-hing, means no offense, but according to your words, I just wonder, have you ever read the user manuals? it's indeed a very good reference, and the fastest way to get basic knowledge about your camera's operation.

I have read the manuel. But found the pictures sometimes out-focus, picture in dull color (look like grey layer on top), flash not good enough to cover the major areas or over exposure, etc. I feel WB may help to solve some but don't know how to set.
