Thanks for the suggestion, I understand it now.  But there are some points that I am not quite sure -
1. Total cost including Windows 7 OEM should be over 3K, definitely;
2. Atom is outdated, you may consider AMD E350;
3. ITX case is not cheap if it is small and has good design.  Is it possible to DIY a ITX PC like DELL ZinoHD at 3K?  I doubt.

1. Ugh...  Windows 7 Home Basic 32-bit OEM is like $410
2. There's a reason why Atom is used -- it's fast enough for what that box and you don't need a fan at all if you don't want one, so you box will be super quiet.  And I will never buy another AMD processor anyways...
3. You just have to look around harder...  And ZinoHD uses shxtty AMD processors.

Agree, Atom nettop PC is outdated, Acer/Asus/Zotec/Magic-Pro will cut price to sell the inventory, it is small and much cheaper than 3K definitely
