I'm just using the Tara Labs 100a to attach a cheap CD player to my AV amp, which I don't really use for music, unless I have a house party or something and need some noise around...

Like I said earlier, I got those cables (together with Audioquest Cinnamon USB) for free with my DAC... I wouldn't have bought them. Am too busy buying other stuff recently, will get to cables later, hopefully in the next few months. Have some ideas, but not sure yet! But seriously, am curious, how much did you pay for the Tara Labs 100a?

And do let us know if the speaker cables you bought were any good. Might need some cheap speaker cables later! Thanks!

Ching, may i ask what Dac are u using? cus i m using a amp without pre-out, and need a dac to connect beteen oppo93 and the amp,
my budget would be around HKD7000, and keen on female vocal, pop and rock music, so what would u suggest? thks

Go for a used Wadia if your budget is $7000, seemingly safe picks for most people...

People are looking for different things, I like the older DACs that aren't necessarily expensive, but they are extremely hard to find...
