Pioneer... + Loudness... more HiFi feeling to me
Yamaha..still struggling.. right now seems Music Enhance better than Straight or Pure Direct

Using Pure Audio will not apply the Audyssey EQ curve. It sounds worse in my setup.
Stereo sounds better to me because the Audyssey EQ fixes the midrange problem (problem of sounding too thin) in my environment.
