Yes, I think so too! In fact I am quite happy with the improvement now.

I think the next first step is to replace the co-axial cable.  Is any ching get any suggestion ???

Changing the tube may be come later, I have absolutely no idea about teh difference between brand and their
performance and price etc.

CDP is abit expensive for me at teh moment, but is it really big difference between a Universial player (like my Opp83) and a pure CDP?? I note many ching here use Shanlin CDP and there are not really expensive (around HK$4-6k), may give that a try sometime!

As you are using MD10(DAC), if you buy a good CD player, you may no longer need MD10.  Or you may consider buying a new DAC like MATRIX, the sound is quite different.
