Which oppo do you have?  I found that some AVCHD play fine on the 83, but have problem with the 80.  Also, can you give more info. on the ones that have problem?  A log file would be a big help to understand your problem.

  I think the problem is the final resolution of your video.  480i@24Hz is not support in AVCHD (see the spec. here:  http://www.avchd-info.org/format/index.html).  You should set to “uncrop to” setting in the MultiAVCHD to 1280x720.
