Actually the best positions should be ...

(1) All stacking together
(2) 2 stacking at your front Left Corner & 2 stacking at your Rear Right Corner
(3) 2 stacking at your front Right Corner & 2 stacking at your Rear Left Corner

Anyway, try your idea 1st.
