At least your manufacture date is close to your purchase date.  Mine is almost 5 months old....   

I know simply judge by the manufacture date cannot 100% know it is new or not...

Also the packaging is slightly different than yours... Mine is using yellow band around the box but I see yours and other people's box are surrounded by 2 white-band instead.   

Anyway, keep thinking about it and no solid prove will only make me unhappy and nothing can be done.   So what I can do is to treat it as a new set instead.

Finally, C-Hing where can find the feature such as "screen cleanup" and "ISM Method > Orbiter"?  Sorry I cannot find it on screen.   

P.S.  I have not read the manual from the disc that come with the TV.

Want to ask during the 1st 200 hrs, the tv is all set 50, how about the bluray player setting?  As it also has it's own contrast, color setting.

Also am I also need to play 16:9 source?  I mean prevent to play movie with top and bottom black bars.

我bd 個 hdmi 就唔係all 50 係, 係 cinema mode / all 50 但係contrast 係63, 咁睇戲正d, 同埋睇戲不防高少少contrast因為唔似睇電視有電視台logo, 冇咁怕有burn mark.  

至於你睇2.35 :1  / 16:9 都冇咩所謂, 睇movie 都好少停住一個畫面/有logo

睇movie 都好少停住一個畫面 <---  How about the 2 black bar (up and down).

P.S.  review again your photo, seems mine is really like have been used before... as there is no any feature stickers on the front of the TV like yours....  unhappy but nothing can do....

    rayzine, no feature stickers on mine too.  Only plastic protection tape on the borders.  As long as no dead pixel.. feel satisfied

Thx CHing info.   Btw I have one bright pixel @ red color full screen on my tv.   At least not very significant.
