For viewing distance of 17 ft. How big will you go?

17呎, 120吋以上都得
好多 Ching 大約10呎都投 80-100吋
我自己9呎投80吋, 睇耐左都覺得佢細

師兄, 我都搵緊有關投影既資料, 以你個viewing distance 17ft, 我諗絕對可以投100', 但係除非你係玩透聲幕啦, 如果唔係仲有好多因素令你玩唔足一百吋, 例如你對前置既相隔距離呢, 樓底之類~

I am thinking if i should go for 12x to 130 inch ( 16:9 ) or ( 2:35 : 1 ).

100寸差不多了,如果太大,你對喇叭有機會會遮住個幕兩邊的,看2.35:1可能冇問題,但是16:9就會有機會遮住了!!

仲有一樣要留意就是部投影機是否足夠力投過一百寸,一唔夠光畫面好易變灰,除非成間房油好深色!!

Thanks Ching,

I did check the wide for 127 inch 16:9 screen , the speaker wont cover the screen but i just dont know will that be too big for the eyes. And make it uncomfortable thats all.

Yes i heard that too, if the throwing distance too long and the screen size too big it will go grey or dark as no power., so i am thinking if JVC 550 powerful enough or even 950 powerful enough? I will make the front ( atleast the first 4 feet dark ).

我也有同樣問題，將會搬新屋，廳有16'深，應該投到100"，但我打算用90"幕算，亦打算買部JVC 550。一來擔心幕太闊影響畫質，二來擔心對眼視角不夠看不盡幕兩邊
