i never heard focus audio before ,but i heard a lot of japanese av amp , they usually sound thin and dry .thats why i think it comes from cambridge . i m not sure but try try  don't need money ma .

不過可以證明CAMBRIDGE 推力唔差...要推到爆得...推力至少有返咁上下...基本上FA 係厚聲底....低音乾淨...再加上坐地....推得好既話...應該好爆得..

i didn't try music , i only try 2 disc ku fu panda and 28 weeks ,i tried 2 times actually , at tri ...

    I definitely think that the important part of speaker not just subwoofer and center. I think the front has its important part as well.coz most background music/sound is the front speaker job. If it performance no good it affect the sound stage a lot.
I had tried some discs and found that if I turn subwoofer off, the LCR still playing a lot details,dynamic range and making impressive atmosphere. so, I think a subwoofer is strengthen the backing sound  stage and the dynamic range.
