Just installed the 4.42 n it seems all the files do not run smoothly from time to time … stop n go !  Any other version 各位師兄 can recommend ?

sorry to hear that.

i have been using 6.4.42 for many months without big problem.  yes sometimes it hangs  but not often, and i think it is due to my router (problem usually solved if i reboot my router)

you may want to give 6.4.62 a try, but someone in that forum says, "6.4.62 is bugged, stay away from it - 6.4.42 is working fine." (source: http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php? ... ware-for-z9x.95999/)

我一出Z9X 就用從無upgrade firmware....   seems no need to chase new firmware, my friend also bought z9x not long ago i dont see any improvement at all..

Noted with thanks. Since I just bought it used n the firmware on it  was from 1.5 years ago. So I need  to know if I missed something in between. So far, I think 4.42 is ok with a few freezing pictures every now n then

if usb, try a different port (usb 2 has sufficient bandwidth to support uhd playback)

Thanks. That may not be a bad idea. Will give it a try tomorrow. Does it matter if it is USB 2.0 or 3.0?
