I just brought AVR 3800 and I wanted to update my speakers, I will go to purchase KEF R series Meta. Will this receiver powerful enough to handle all speakers? The speakers are as follow R5, R6, R3 and 2 sets of R8 and also I am thinking to add two KF 92 sub. Please advise I am a new guy. Many thanks

Hi HenryShum@G ,

Your speaker layout is 5.2.2 with Dolby enabled speaker as height speaker. For AVC-X3800H, it can provide 105W @8ohm loading which should give enough power for driving your KEF set if the listening area is not too big. It will be better to set the speakers to small in the AVC-X3800H manual and let the bass section of each channel be diverted to your 2 subwoofers.

Can I set up as R3 meta front and surround, R2 meta center , 2 KF92 and 4 of Q50a as atmos. I brought the 3800 already but I didn't order the speakers yet.

Hi HenryShum@G ,

Yes, you can assign KEF R3 meta as front speaker, R2 meta as center speaker. However, Q50A is just designed as Atmos reflects speaker but does not work as surround speaker.
The Q150 will work fine as surround speaker.
