Denon AVR 3800

If I want to purchase a set of KEF R meta, such as R3, 2 sets of R8 , R5  and R6, will this AVR 3800 powerful to push all speakers? thanks

What about Subwoofer?
If you set the low pass frequency right, you might be able to use these sets of KEF R to do a home AV setup, but you need very good subwoofers, maybe two subwoofers to make this setup work.

If you don’t have a two channel amp, I won’t suggest you choose floor standing speakers for front channel.

But in my understanding of AV receivers, you better to upgrade the AV receiver first before buying those expensive speakers.

In my experience, a top class receiver will always perform better even with satellite speakers. With entry level receiver, you won’t get much improvement even with top class speakers.

Thank you... I am looking to purchase KF 92, and I brought the Denon 3800 already. This is the reasons, I didn't  order the Kef R series since they are not in Canada yet. I may thinking just get a bookshelf instead of floor stand.

If u like floor standing speakers, go for it. Denon 3800 is not going to bring out all the potential of Kef R3 or above, but u can always add a power amp or integrated amp with AV bypass. Enjoy.

Denon 3800 should have pre out for such purpose

KF92 is a good subwoofer for music, but for movie, there are many other brands better like SVS, M&K, JL.
