Here is another thing to consider on the audio side of things....
I was interested in the Oppo but wanted to wait till CA released their BD player to see what DACs they were using. I will be using the 7.1 analog outs so SQ is a premium for me.
According to the specs, CA use the Crystal CS4345/CS4361 24 bit/192kHz DACs and Oppo uses the Crystal CS4398 & CS4382A DACs.
After some browsing of the Cirrus Logic website, the Oppo DACs are considered "flagship" and the CA DACs are considered the lower performance "value/entry-level" DACs.
hmmmm....
Quite disappointing.
I realize there is more to the final sound quality then DACs alone, but you'd think they would use something a little higher up the chain then "value DACs".
The Oppo now looks even more appealing.
A shame as I'm using a CA DVD89 right now and wanted to stay with the brand.

I first bought BDP-83 and then later upgrade to BDP-83SE through OUKU. I would said they are very dedicated to provide the service and I was quite impressed. The technicians that came to my home for the upgrade was very polite and they even refused to take tips.
