You can also change blu ray Region code by pressing STOP button and the TOP MENU button once or twice AFTER the REGION NO PLAY screen appearing :
Region A Panasonic player - for Region B discs method about 80% of discs successful
Region B Panasonic player - for Region A discs method about 10% of discs successful (Criterion Collection Region A discs 100% successful)

Never tried to upload China UB9000GK 1.66 firmware to UB820.

It is a wonderful news !

The download link redirect to https://av.jpn.support.panasonic ... 20/ub420_china.html , which firmware is named for China version, is it suitable to UK version?
