故事簡介：
故事發生在第一次世界大戰時期的非洲。男主人公Charlie Allnut (堪富利保加 飾) 是一名因失業而流落到非洲的礦山機械師，女主人公Rose Sayer (嘉芙蓮協賓 飾) 是一位向非洲土人傳道的教士。為了抵抗德國人，兩人同乘一艘破舊的遊艇 - "非洲皇后號" 沿河順流而下。途中，這對個性迥然不同的中年男女不僅產生了真摯的愛情，而且還勇敢地擊沉了一艘德國戰艦。

唔係，原版都係彩色片，這齣還是嘉芙蓮協賓的第一齣彩色片。
