Yes ar...over 8 wires is not a good solution for 2pin or mmcx connector which is no good for mobility....But for headphone side is another story which can be consider but i'm not sure Crystal Cable side accept to do this or not....

Do ching means CCD (4 wires)? Performance is ok, but CCDD performance is much better. Ching can try and compare between CCD and CCDD to check whether which one more suitable for u
