Even though the two models share the same OLED panel type and video processor the A8F has better SDR sustained brightness which boosts it’s score by 0.06 in 'Movies' and better Pre calibration and stutter performance that add another 0.02 for a total of 0.09 that rounds up to 0.1.
Something similar holds true for the TV Shows. A8F gets a boost from better SDR Peak brightness of 0.06 which is not offset by the slight worse viewing angle where it loses only 0.03. However, this 0.03 net gain is enough to round it up to to 8.5 vs the 8.4 of the A1E.
These differences though, should not be a decisive factor as they are minimal and also they fall into the variability of the Panels due to manufacturing tolerances.
