I never explored his music but I know, and like, many of his songs. Including those by the Traveling Wilburys, a super group that included Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne (of ELO), former Beatle George Harrison, and Tom Petty. To me, he was the continuation of the Eagles. And his lead guitarist, Mike Campbell, is an excellent player.
Sirius XM Satellite Radio (not sure if it's available in HK) has a Tom Petty channel, and I have been listening to him talk about his record collection and the music he likes. he may not smile much in photos, but he's quite funny.
