Einstein hing, 有無試過電腦直出電視, 有無反應呀, 因為如果你唔洗bitstream的話, 用乜野windows其實都已經唔重要

CHing, 有試過電腦直出電視, fully OK with Video & Audiu, but ,,,,,just by my AV amp donesn't work,,,,

Of course you can but need windows 7 to bitstream hd sound format only, beside of this nothing different at all, because a lot of people (:- include me ) using htpc before using optical fibre connect to amp for dolby digital and dts, i have try using from windows xp to my SR7002 and found that the only issue is a bit over scan compare to connect direct tv, but minor correction will be o.k

曾經有網友, update完部amp既firmware, 先成功出到畫面, 唔知你部Yamaha update左未呢?

Try to connect your pc direct to tv first to see if you get any signal first, if you do then conect your pc to your amp to see if the problem stand, i was wonder you do have such problem because i just help my friend connect his pc which is just using ati onboard graph 780g with windows 7 and latest version of power dvd ultra version 2320_R1(TaRe45)_DVD091117-01, and he still mamage to bitstream dobly digital and dts to his Denon 3310. But beware that you can only choose the option from sound setting bitstream to amp only if you have connect to the amp already but not just the tv itself{:1_337:}

One more thing for those ching  who using marantz sr7002 please go and update your firmware which is free even warranty expried because you will know the machine that using at the moment is not work properly that suppose to be, it will become a different machine

THat's weird, so it sound like the compatible issue between amp and pc, so update your firmware for your yamaha amp first, because i really do heard some of the amp need to upadte the firmware for better compatibility.

charliebeagle ching, I think you are right. I has updated ATI driver, but it seems do not eork. I also call Partick from Tom Lee who is a nice AV guy. He forget hoe to update 3800.... I am waiting his call back....
