Any ching know the price for SB12+. I check for my brother. He want to set up AV system with this SUB.

What is the nature different between SB12+ and Sunfire HR12. My brother want to know and choose between this two brand and model of Subwoofer. The % of watching movie and Movie concert is 70% vs 30%. Any Ching comment on them.

我之前問過svs這問題,他回復如下:
The PC12-Plus has a better woofer, about 80% more port area, a more powerful amp, and a larger internal enclosure volume.  The combined result is about 60-70% more maximum output capability on average, as compared to the PC12-NSD.  At 25-32 Hz, it’s actually closer to 90% more max output capability.  So subjectively the Plus will have more slam/impact/pressure and would be preferred for larger room layouts and/or where a higher playback level is desired.  

So I recommend making your decision based on room size and preferred playback level – if you have a larger room and like loud levels, then wait for the Plus.  If you have a smaller room and listen at moderate to moderately loud levels, then get the NSD.  Another option is dual NSD, which will outperform a single Plus and (if placed properly) will also provide superior modal coverage in the room which will lessen the chances for peaks/nulls in the frequency response at the listening position.

In that size room, I would go for the Plus, especially if you have no room for dual subs.  We generally recommend the NSD in 1500-2500 ft^3 and the Plus in >2500-3500 ft^3.  Again, the playback level also is a variable, but for HT applications where most customers listen at fairly loud levels and want some exciting pressure/slam/impact on the action/sci-fi bassy scenes, the Plus is a nice insurance policy in that size room.
