Best solution for music listening and AV theatre?

1. Can anyone recommend a good set of amps  (pre and power amp) for Monitor Audio RX8? And their approximate price? Is there any integrated amp out there which is up to the job? Purely for 2 channel listening.

2. If I want the same speakers for AV front, how should I connect?

A. AV Amp  Preout -> Pre amp ->  Power amp -> Speakers
or
B. Digital source -> DAC -> Pre amp  -> Power amp -> Speakers
and AV Amp -> Power Amp -> Speakers?
(I know a dedicated CD player would be better, but I want to focus my budget on the amps first)

For 2, is there any power amp that supports switching between 2 sets of input?

By the way, would a 7.1 power amp such as Passlabs or Rotel boost the performance of music as well?

For question 2....absolutely B....some power amp have a switcher for choosing xlr or rca input..you can use both of them for AV and 2 ch....
