It sounds very innovative and attractive as the noise can be isolated from the computer. Certain quality can also be assumed considering PS audio as the developer.

It seems that there's always sth lost in each part of the chain (somewhere in the chain of CAS)...

CAS needs a lot of dedication and patience if you wanna make it right...

No, there's no loss.  In CAS you have bitperfect audio.  The difference comes from noise - EMI / RFI / USB ground noise, etc.

喟，大哥，用乜嘢接口首先係同你部DAC設計有關。唔同接口可能抗無線電波及訊原電磁波隔離有別。另外就是接口的頻寛上限有別，光纖最高足24/192，但USB就可去到Quad DSD, 32/768;唔計訊噪隔離問題，就梗係用USB喇！
