2015 was certainly the most prolific year of the recent decade, five movies(or five sequels) were succeeded in reaching $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office, and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" got even formidable, mangaging to take the place of "Avatar" at the North America box office! But does "lucrative" mean good? Apparently not, the top 10 list got only two movies, "Furious 7" and "Inside Out" could make me feel truly content, the others couldn't even impress me . 2014 was even a dreadful year for the ticket sales, only a garbage called "Transformers: Age of Extinction" could pass $1 billion at the worldwide box office, and most of the rest on the top 10 highestgrossing film list barely reach $700 million respectively. I'm aware of that there weren't many blockbusters in 2014, but at least the top 10 list aleast got well directed non-sequels like: "Interstellar" , "Maleficent" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" , and also got the sequels with qualities, such as: "Captain America: The Winter Soilder" and "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes"; even some movies weren't profitable even to get on the list, they are also decent ones, for instance, "Gone Girl", "Edge of Tomorrow", "Birdman" and "Stephen Hawking: The Theory of Everything". Sorry, I gotta tell you that 2015 was truly the most frustrating year for the movie sector as it could not give me the thrill that I was given in 2014. Ahh, I almost forgot to say "Bridge of Spies", "Kingsman: The Secret Service", "Run All Night" and "Boyhood" are also my favourite ones of 2015!

People might wanna ask why I keep posting the box office performance everyday, now I think it's time to reveal my intention: I keep posting the ticket sales of a few movies, because I want people who love watching movies like me to have a chance to meditate on why some shitty movies could even be remarkable at their financial performance, why there were still numerous spectators going for the ones which got critcally panned, and the reason why some got largely praised by the critics still couldn't manage to be among the top 10 highest-grossing films list.
