After a few hours burn-in (with burn-in track), it improved a bit. My question is : someone said that the pads were easily torn up due to the double side tapes. Did you experience with that? Also, did you use 'blue tac' (or white) instead of modelling clay (clay seems become hard after dry out!) ?

More, the Fostex T20RPmkII recalled one of my favour speakers LS3/5a in vocal performance. Of course, 3/5a had its own magic in vocal reproduction which others hard to bit.

The K142HD is also nice HP, someone said which 80% sounds alike K240s in addition 20% HiFi means. Thanks in advance.

Just remove the earpad with care, there's no problem for me.

I use "Blu-Tack" & have never tried using modelling clay.

正如師兄所言，out of box 聲都唔錯。特別係一些好錄音, good for vocal/Jazz/chamber 。T20RPmkII 有 monitor特性：差的錄音出的效果亦相對厭煩。

聽多個幾星期，再改機試聲。

Hi 今天都做左最基本modification, BlueTack + Cotton balls. 正如 C Hing 所說，很奇怪，同Fostex 做完小手術後真的全面提升。特別是中低及低頻，未modi之前，一聽大爆棚，低音區抄粉混亂；modi完分隔度提升相當明顯。多謝好介紹。

The earpads attached to the cups by means of double sided tape. Just remove it slowly from the cup with care, not too difficult at all. Hope can help.
