D1行兩粒 Wolfson WM8741做解碼, 503就共兩粒VERITA AK4490,
兩者都有升頻功能,

Street price of D1 is much lower than that.  It also supports AirPlay and Tidal (HK$96 per month for lossless CD quality).

If you like warm and analogue sound, try to listen to the D1.

The overall player implementation affects the sound as much as the DAC chip does, so it requires listening to determine which implementation suits one's tastes better.

AK4490 specs look very impressive.  I found the first comment here somewhat surprising though:

Listen and compare.  Think about whether you like the idea of using an iPad to control the network player to play music, without depending on other things like a computer.  Think about whether AirPlay is important to you, e.g. iPad YouTube -> AirPlay -> player, or iPad music or other online music app -> AirPlay -> player.

I use Lumin.
