got this new toys paired with my PC-13 Ultra
After a very brief setup last nite.... this gadget sounded astonishing in my room....
every note got tighten up..... the bass is clearer......
when demo the transformer after setup... i can distinguish different kinds of explosion in the scene...
also the bass can intergrate much fuller into the system ...
for its price.. I think it got a very high c/p...... better then changing all those sub cable and powercord....
and it is made in Finland... yeah!!
Pros:
1.very easy to setup......
2. cheaper than SVS EQ....and perform better than Velodyne SMS-1 from most review in AVSforum
3. very very small indeed.... about 2 pack of cigarettes size.
4. made in Finland
Cons:
1. No connection with pc...
Unlike svs.. It doesn't provide USB connection with pc to show the pre/ post graph.
This unit cost 271 euro and takes 3 days for delivery from Finland to hk!!! Cheers
Behringer FBQ2496 And antimode both targeted to get the flattest curve for ur room as possible. But 2496 require certain eq knowledge to start with and spl is needed.. Antimode is a one touch solution... According to dspeaker, corner loading of the sub can give the flatter response from antimode. And due to my limitation of the location, I didn't play around with the location. As per the price... A decent powercord and sub cable is about the price of this unit.. The result of this unit is much obvious.....
One more comment about this unit and svs from avforums... Svs seems providing better performance for two subs.
For the shipping... 2 units can halved the shipping from 40 to 20 euro each!!!!
