Using 103D internal DAC to read/process SACD DSD signals (103D is set for DSD128), and the 103D analog outputs are connected to AV amp (which is set at "analog bypass", i.e. AV amp DAC is not used), but HDMI 2 is set to "On" instead of "Off" (TV can be turned on or off as needed when listening to SACD source, but TV HDMI output is not connected to 103D HDMI input; and no other connected HDMI devices to 103D are turned "On"),
1. Are the native DSD signals from SACD being processed by 103D DAC, then high DSD128 sampling rates of analog signals as the output signals (to AV amp for direct analog output to loudspeakers)?
2. Will 103D process DSD or PCM signal from SACD, if 103D {HDMI Audio} is set to "On"?
Oppo site write-up is as follows
DSD to Analog Output:
•Audio Format Setup - HDMI Audio: set to Off (This ensures that any connected HDMI device will not cause the player to convert DSD to PCM.)
