我就咁睇: 好嘅線材的確係值得投資. 因為AV AMP基本上年年都會轉一轉款搞下新意思, 等班守唔到寡嘅AV友成日要跌錢. 好嘅線材反而一步到位之後以後D架生點換都可以用得番. 當然如果D PLAYER同AMP各方面先天不足你當然唔可以旨意條靚線可以幫畫面同聲效起死回生.

老實果句都係要睇餸食飯. 有錢我當然支持去買條WW返來插一插, 同你之前條SONY一做AB COMPARE你就會發覺錢花咗係值得.

我由開始玩AV到現在, 都用過好幾個牌子嘅線: AEGIS, 企鵝, AQ HDMI-X 同1, BELDEN, SUPRA, WW ULTRAVIOLET, STARLIGHT同SILVER STARLIGHT. 講C/P值上網訂SUPRA同企鵝線係最好. BELDEN係平但效果真係一般. AEGIS可以唔駛考慮. AQ唔錯但街價唔平. 重有好多假線. 上網訂或者買二手要小心. WW之前係友台團購比街價平. 效果的確比用過其他嘅牌子好D. 正所謂一分錢一分貨. 我基本上宜家所有嘅HDMI都係用WW.

以上純粹個人意見, 不喜勿插, 多多包含!

this is exactly right!!! cable are for those who have high end gear and finish their upgrade or think its good enough already and make a little changes in between . if i said wireworld was good hdmi ...

Not all cables are for High End gear...many of them are suitable for Low or Mid Range equipments so as to boost up their performances. I am sure good cables will also boost the performance of low end equipments.

Dose it worth to get a high price cable for your equipments? This is a personal attitude about Value. We can't say that he is stupid. It does not worth is your own view but not the buyer.

i don't agree as what you said ,as a beginner , if i have $15000 av amp can tell the different of cable around 5 % ,a $4000 i perfer not over 3.5% ,so is it worth to buy 3 together ? if you want to see a bigger different of the quality , i guess 800 was at least per piece , so u need 2400 ,if i have this amount for upgrade, i saw there are a lot power amp cost $1950 in 33, or sell you original player and add 2400 buy a better player  ,do u think u change the cable will get better perfomance over the power amp or player ? i saw there are a lot of beginner here , i m new too but i m fever these 3 years , i really don't think this is the only way to upgrade .this not the analog generation anymore , the cable have different but not that obvious .

How do you comment if I upgrade the power cords (say around $500 per piece) for my bdp, LCD & subwoofer)?  I have the similar grade for my equipment as the writer....

I am afraid you have mis-understand my point. I am talking about the quality of cable and not Numbers of cable you invested.
I also agreed that getting the cables one at time so that you can monitor the improvements.

u mean all of it ?  i think i have to make it clear , i mean if u are satisfy with your equiment now , then u can use the cable to get change and  make it even better, may be you like more bass ,then u choose the copper cable .but i won't play with it till i satisfy with my equiment ( may be my equiment was low-end ) ,then i would rather save my money for upgrade . i m not sure m i right but i did pass though these step these years , for example , i buy a grade B amp , nomatter what cable i change , there's no way to win a grade A amp(same band ).

you can change it but u have to count how much are u going to pay for this upgrade ? and how much perfomance are u going to get and is it worth ? if there's other choice as i said like a better amp or player , then think of upgrade which one will get better result or more result . i think this is the main point of an upgrade right?
